AceShowbiz - A brand new trailer for "RoboCop" remake has just arrived. Samuel L. Jackson plays Pat Novak, a great OmniCorp supporter, as he speaks to a crowd of people about the future law enforcement. He's trying to convince America to follow the trend of using the androids which were already embraced by the rest of the world.
"What if I told you that even the worst neighborhood in America could be made completely safe? How do I know this? Because it's happening right now in every country in the world, but this one," he says in front of the waving Star-Spangled Banner. "So then tell me. Why can't we use these machines here at home? Why is America so robo-phobic?"
The scenes that follow show Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) resurrected after he got blown apart in a car bombing. He's put inside a machine and transformed into a controlled cyborg in the company's attempt to create "a product with a conscience. Something that knows what it feels like to be human." But what happens when some creations can't be controlled?
The movie directed by Jose Padilha is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on February 12, 2014. Gary Oldman stars as OmniCorp's scientist, Michael Keaton as the company's CEO, and Abbie Cornish as Alex's wife.
