The mother and son duo meets a bleeding Frank on a back-to-school shopping trip. They give him a ride to their home against all judgment, a decision that will shape them for the rest of their lives. As police continues their search for him, they grow closer as a family.

Gattlin Griffith, Tobey Maguire, Clark Gregg and James Van Der Beek join the cast ensemble. Based on Joyce Maynard's novel of the same title, the Jason Reitman-directed drama is scheduled to hit theaters across the country on Christmas Day.
