Joe Jonas, who is joined by brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas on the morning show, says that he and his brothers feel their music is getting 'stale' and they want to pursue 'personal opportunities.'

AceShowbiz - After canceling their tour and deleting their official Twitter account, Jonas Brothers finally announced their break-up on Tuesday, October 29. On the following day, brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas appeared on "Good Morning America" to explain the reason behind their split.

Nick told host Robin Roberts that he was the brother who initiated the split talks. "I was actually the one that initiated the conversation," Nick said. "You know, we're family first and that's always been our main priority and so honesty within what we do as a group was really important."

"So I came to the table with the guys just before we were prepping to leave for tour and I shared my heart with them, my feelings," he continued. He admitted to having a "tough conversation" with his brothers.

"I think in a nutshell I said, 'Look, I feel like we've had some complications with the new group for a long time without addressing them,' " Nick recalled what he told Kevin and Joe. " 'I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations we may feel as individuals.' "

Joe then explained how the split decision was taken. "To just name a few, for us, as a band it was the music, for us, we kind of held on to it for so long. At one point, a year later, we still kind of felt like it was starting to get stale to us," he said.

"There was just individual things that we were just butting heads about whether it was the way to [set up] a music video to even just whatever, even just personal opportunities," he added. "At some point we decided it was best to finish this and support each other in our ventures along the way."

Before breaking up, Jonas Brothers were preparing their fifth studio album, "V". The brothers have revealed that they will not be releasing it in full. "The album will actually not be completed, but we will be doing something for our fans," Kevin said. "They have traveled with us and been with us for so many years that we did not want to just leave them without giving them back something."

"So what we've done is we're gonna release four of the unreleased songs from the album," he continued. "The rest of the album will be never released... we put together the live tracks from last summer tour, about 10 songs, so we'll actually be giving that to our fan club members as a gift."

As for what they already planned to do after the split, Nick and Joe said that they would focus on their respective career in both singing and acting. Meanwhile, dad-to-be Kevin would start his own entertainment company.
