'X-Men: Days of Future Past' First Trailer: Wolverine Comes to the Rescue

Logan is sent back to the past by Xavier and Magneto and tasked with a mission to find their younger selves and lead them to make changes for a better future.

The first trailer for "" has just come out. The past and the present collide as the mutants are in a battle to change the past in order to save their future. And the key to the success of this mission is in the hands of Logan a.k.a. Wolverine.

Xavier and Magneto are forced to join forces once again as their kinds are facing the impending doom in the present day. The two are sending Wolverine back to the old days, hoping him that he could change the events of the past in attempt to prevent a disastrous future.

"Find me," Xavier tells Logan. "Convince me of all this." Magneto chimes in, "It's going to take the two of us." When Logan asks where to find him, Magneto says, "A different path. A darker path." Professor X adds, "I was a very different man. Lead me, guide me, be patient with me."

and are back as the young Professor X and Magneto with and portraying their older versions respectively. returns as Wolverine, as Mystique, as Storm, and as Beast.

Directed by Bryan Singer, the film is due in the U.S. May 23, 2014.
