Tori Spelling Admits to Lying About How She Lost Post-Baby Weight

The '90210' actress confessed she lost the extra weight from her 4th pregnancy not by swimming but by dieting.

AceShowbiz - She first opened up last week about the radical change in her finances from being the wealthy heiress daughter of TV mogul Aaron Spelling to cash-strapped mother of four kids with her husband, actor Dean McDermott. Now actress and author Tori Spelling drops some new explosive revelations from her memoir "Spelling It Like It Is" that involve some lying.

The 40-year-old former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star reveals in her new book that what she initially proclaimed as shedding the extra weight from her fourth pregnancy through swimming was a complete lie, something that she insists had the go-signal of her publicist. It was in fact through dieting, or what she called the "Just Keep Your F***ing Mouth Shut and Eat Air" diet that got her back into shape.

Giving birth to her fourth child via Caesarian section, Spelling could not swim, let alone exercise over the risk that her stitches would open up again, but she had been made to say she lost the weight by exercising with the assumption that it would please her fans more to know she did not resort to dieting. But after her doctor suggested that she take up swimming, she has since taken up the habit for real.

As far as being real goes, that's apparently something that Spelling can say about her fellow teen drama TV star Katie Holmes, whom she called "plastic" when they last ran into each other at the studio of vocal coach Eric Vetro, sometime before Holmes split with husband Tom Cruise. "I just felt sorry for her. I felt sad for her. Those paparazzi photos, the ones where she looks like she's miserable but putting on a happy face? That's what she looked like in person," she said.
