AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has unveiled the artwork of her "most personal album ever," "Britney Jean". Arriving via her Twitter and official website on Friday, October 25, the black-and-white picture features the pop diva topless and baring her cleavage. The title of the album is written in blue neon and surrounded by a heart-shaped pink neon.
The 31-year-old singer also posted a handwritten letter to her fans and shared more details about her eighth studio album. "I am putting the finishing touches on my new album, 'Britney Jean', over the next few days and I am so excited for you to hear it," she wrote.
"I poured my heart and soul into this album and it's been an incredible journey. I've learned a lot about myself, and as I am finishing, I am reminded of the incredible foundation that has supported me for the last 15 years," she continued. "I can't believe this is my eighth studio album and I know I keep telling you that it is my most personal record yet, but its true and I'm really proud of that."
Spears has worked with the likes of Sia Furler, William Orbit and Will.i.am for "Britney Jean". She then said that working with those musicians was "an amazing experience." "They have listened to all of my ideas and helped me bring them to life," Spears said of her contributors.
The former Disney star went on revealing what fans could expect from her new record, adding, "There are a lot of really fun, upbeat dance songs, but it was important to me that I show my strength, and my attitude, and my vulnerability. Of course, I also have some surprises for you guys ;)."
"I want to show you the different sides of Britney Spears. I am a performer. I am a Mom. I am funny. I am your friend! I am Britney Jean," the mother of two concluded.
In her website, Spears also revealed that a new track called "Perfume" would be released on November 5. While "Britney Jean", which has so far spawned lead single "Work B**ch", is due out on December 3.
