'12 Years a Slave' Nabs Most Nominations for 2013 Gotham Film Awards

The historical drama film is vying for the Best Feature prize in addition to helping Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong'o land in Best Actor and Breakthrough Actor categories respectively.

"" leads the pack of nominees for the 23rd Gotham Independent Film Awards. The based-on-true-story film earns 3 nods, eying the Best Feature honor along with "", "", "" and "".

Lead actor , who plays Solomon Northup whose real-life story got turned into a movie, is nominated for Best Actor alongside ("Inside Llewyn Davis"), (""), ("") and ("").
