AceShowbiz - After getting back together in 2012 following a 2007 split-up, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star Chris Evans parts ways anew with "Friday Night Lights" cast member Minka Kelly. Following a five year gap wherein Kelly dated baseball player Derek Jeter, the 32-year-old hunk and the 33-year-old actress rekindled their romance in September last year but as it turned out, both their busy schedules eventually led to their second break-up.
"It didn't make sense for them to be together right now," a source disclosed, saying the couple's current distant work location did nothing to help their second try at love, with Evans set to film his directorial debut "1:30 Train" in New York City while Kelly scheduled to tape her "Almost Human" TV series in Vancouver, British Columbia. Although it did not work out again for the lovely pair, they are said to have parted amicably and are on good terms, with each one still very much concerned about the other.
Kelly may seem to have a habit of reuniting with past lovers, having resumed her three-year romance with Jeter in January 2012 after it ended just a few months before in August 2011. However, that reunion was very short-lived, with the twosome saying goodbye again just two months after attempting to extend their relationship.
Meanwhile, Evans has been more adventurous in the dating scene, having been associated with many female celebrities besides Kelly. "The Avengers" superhero once dated Jessica Biel, Kate Bosworth, Gisele Bundchen and Christina Ricci, and was also linked to Stacy Keibler, Emmy Rossum and Dianna Agron.
