Vince Gill and Alison Krauss join Sam Bush, Edgar Meyer and Eric Darken for Swift's November 6 performance.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has performed her hit song "Red" many times throughout her tour but on November 6 at the 2013 Country Music Association Awards, her forthcoming live rendition of it will be quite a special one. The 23-year-old country-pop music superstar will be backed up by an all-star band, supported no less by a few of the more veteran acts in the industry.

Grammy Award-winners Vince Gill and Alison Krauss lead the all-star ensemble playing with Swift at the Carrie Underwood-Brad Paisley-hosted awards ceremony, with bluegrass mandolin player Sam Bush, bassist Edgar Meyer and percussionist Eric Darken completing the band. The performance will be telecast live by ABC as it unfolds from Nashville, Tennessee.

Swift is one of the two top nominees at this year's event, the other being newcomer Kacey Musgraves. The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer and the "Nashville Star" contestant are tied with six nominations each to lead all nominees at the 47th annual staging of the CMA Awards.

Besides Swift, all the other nominees for the Entertainer of the Year honors, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and George Strait, will be performing as well. Other much-anticipated highlights of the upcoming show are a joint performance between Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and the Zac Brown Band, and a duet between 2012 CMA New Artist of the Year Hunter Hayes and singer-songwriter Jason Mraz.
