Screen tests to find a new actor who will replace Charlie Hunnam in the lead role will reportedly take place this Friday.

AceShowbiz - More actors are added as candidates to play Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey" after Charlie Hunnam's departure. Billy Magnussen and Luke Bracey are the latest stars rumored eying the male lead role. E! News reports screen tests are taking place Friday, October 18.

Magnussen, 28, got a coveted Tony nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play last year, thanks to his role in "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike". He will next be seen in Rob Marshall's all-star musical fantasy film "Into the Woods", portraying Rapunzel's Prince.

Bracey, 24, is best known for his role as Trey Palmer on soap opera "Home and Away". He recently landed a lead role on ABC's drama pilot "Westside". He was last seen on the big screen playing Cobra Commander in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". The role was originally played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the first movie.

Both actors join "The Borgias" star Francois Arnaud, "True Blood" hunk Alexander Skarsgard, "The Fall" actor Jamie Dornan, "Divergent" star Theo James, and "Magic City" thesp Christian Cooke in the long list of Hunnam's possible replacement.

The "Sons of Anarchy" actor left the project reportedly due to script issues and the overwhelming attention he received from the movie. He was rumored getting a low payday of only $125,000 to play the titular kinky billionaire in the adaptation of E.L. James' erotic book.

Production is expected to kick off this coming November for a planned August 1, 2014 release. Sam Taylor-Wood is on board to direct the pic about a D/S relationship between young wealthy businessman Grey and naive college student Steele. Dakota Johnson is tapped as the female lead.
