Austin Mahone Postpones Tour With MTV Following Hospitalization With 'Bad Flu'

The 'What About Love' singer has pushed back all dates for his first headlining tour, MTV Artist to Watch tour, after getting hospitalized with 'bad flu' and '103 fever.'

AceShowbiz - Austin Mahone has been forced to push back the scheduled dates for his headlining tour with MTV. According to mother Michele Mahone, the 17-year-old artist is postponing a string of tour dates after getting hospitalized due to "bad flu."

"Austin is very ill. Unfortunately we are going to have to postpone the entire MTV Artist to Watch Tour," Michele tweeted on Thursday, October 17. "Austin is very upset about this & we want to say we are sorry to all the Mahomies & their parents who have made arrangements to come out."

"We feel very bad but we have no choice but to POSTPONE the tour for now. Thank you for your prayers," she continued.

Ealier in the day, Austin informed his fans that he had delayed the the first two dates of the tour. Originally slated to happen on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, the dates for Miami and Orlando shows had been pushed back to Tuesday, October 22 and Friday, November 1, respectively.

"I can't believe this is happening its my first tour I'm so upset. I feel like I'm letting you all down," Austin tweeted, expressing his regret for the tour delay. "It's Doctor's orders. I have a bad flu 103 fever and I can't move. If I could go I would."

Austin was admitted to a hospital on Thursday morning. The "What About Love" singer later took to Instagram to post a picture of him wearing a hospital gown. "I've never felt so bad," he captioned it.
