The music video sees the British singer dressing up as a captain and performing the track on a ship, which is sailing through the streets in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Robbie Williams has dropped the new music video for his single, "Go Gentle". Sporting slicked back hair and dressing up in a dark blue marine officer's uniform in the clip, the British singer plays the captain of a boat that's cruising down the streets in Los Angeles.

In addition to causing traffic jam, the boat draws the attention of people nearby. Williams is then seen hitting the road while being accompanied by a band, whose members are dressed as sailors.

"Go Gentle" is featured in "Swings Both Ways", Williams' forthcoming album which will feature some covers of classic songs as well as new original song. Singers Lily Allen, Olly Murs, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble are set to make guest appearance in the record that arrives in November.

"First of all, I wanted to do a swing album because I wanted to do a swing album. I always knew I'd do another and I think now is the perfect time to do it," Williams recently explained the reason behind the decision to make the album.

"It's different - it's not all covers. I had some songs that I wanted the world to hear and check out and maybe become part of the fabric of their lives, if I'm lucky enough, that I've had a hand in writing," he added. "So it's very, very similar to the last one, and very different - and hopefully I'm off to romance the world."
