Future, who is said being fired for making a negative comment on Drake's new album during an interview, allegedly plans to sue the Canadian rapper for a total of $1.5 million.

AceShowbiz - Drake has reportedly dropped Future from his forthcoming Would You Like a Tour. NY Post's Page Six says that Future, who was originally slated to support the 39-city tour with Miguel, is unhappy with the decision and now planning to sue the Canadian MC for $40,000 per gig, or about $1.5 million in total.

The problem between the two rappers began earlier this month, when Future visited Billboard associate editor Erika Ramirez to play her his new album, "Honest". Future told Ramirez, "Drake made an album that is full of hits, but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do."

"I've been on the songs of all these rappers that put out an album, and my music is still better," the boyfriend of singer Ciara continued. Ramirez quoted Future's statement and posted it on her Twitter.

Future's team reportedly tried to argue that the quotes were meant to be off the record and were taken out of context. Billboard subsequently removed the quote from their article, but Ramirez didn't delete her tweets.

While neither Drake nor Future has commented on the news, Billboard has apologized for causing the trouble between the two stars. "We regret that miscommunication surrounding Future's recent visit, one that seemed clear to us was on the record, may have caused any trouble for the artist," the people from the magazine said.

After getting delayed for a month, Drake's Would You Like a Tour is set to kick off on Friday, October 18 in Pittsburgh.
