Swift apparently will take part in the music school's programs, saying, 'We've been talking about different programs I can be involved in.'

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift attended the opening ceremony of Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on Saturday, October 12. The "We Are Never Ever Going Back Together" singer, who donated $4 million for the facility, cut the ribbon and took reporters as well as high school students to a tour around the building.

"I'm really excited about this music education center and the fact that right now they have three different classes going on today," Swift told the Associated Press after the opening ceremony. "It's really exciting that we can be here on a day when they're not only unveiling it, but they're starting to actively use it today."

The 23-year-old singer added that she probably would take part in the school's programs. "We've been talking about different programs I can be involved in. I hate to call it a lecture because that sounds like I'm yelling at people, but we could do a Q&A talking to students here and a songwriters discussion would be really fun to have at some point," Swift added.

According to the museum, the new education center will have classroom space, an instrument room and ongoing education opportunities. The center will increase the museum's educational capacity up to seven-fold.

Swift, who accepted her sixth songwriter-artist of the year award from Nashville Songwriters Association International the next day, looked pretty at the Saturday ceremony. Wearing an Elie Saab black dress and Miu Miu shoes, she posed with a group of students. Her long hair was styled in pony tail and she had red lipstick.
