Somers reveals during an appearance on 'The Talk' that she and her husband Alan Hamel have sex 'a couple times a day,' which is contrary to Cyrus' remark that people over 40 have less sex.

AceShowbiz - During an appearance on "Today" show on Monday, October 7, Miley Cyrus said that people over 40 might have less sex. Suzanne Somers, however, proved that the claim was inaccurate. During a sit-down with the ladies of "The Talk" on Tuesday, the 66-year-old Somers opened up about her sex life with her 77-year-old husband, Alan Hamel.
"[We have sex] a couple times a day," the "Three's Company" star told the audience. "He's on hormones and I'm on hormones," she said of her husband, adding, "I'm going to be so sorry I said that. What is it about men at four in the morning? And then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings."
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Somers said that Cyrus would learn about it as she matures. "She's just young. She doesn't get it. I remember when I thought 40 [was] so old you don't do anything anymore," she explained.
Cyrus previously told Matt Lauer, "I heard when you turn 40, things start to go a little less sexual. Probably around that time, I heard that's when people don't have sex anymore." Following the comment, the "Wrecking Ball" singer admitted that she did not really know about people's sex life after they reach 40.
At a fan-signing event to celebrate the release of her album "Bangerz" on October 8, Cyrus told E! News, "I don't know, I'm not 40 yet." She added, "I'll let you know how my sex life goes when I'm 40."
