The basketball star is 'ordered to obey all laws until his next hearing,' which is scheduled for November 8.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge stemming from his August 30 arrest. His attorney Richard Hutton entered the not-guilty plea on his behalf, as the NBA star was not present at the hearing taking place at the Van Nuys courthouse in Los Angeles.

Lamar, 33, was charged with one count of driving under the influence. A pretrial date has been set for November 8. The former Lakers and Clippers player who is now a free agent was "ordered to obey all laws until his next hearing."

Lamar was pulled over in the San Fernando Valley at 3:54 A.M. after raising suspicion for driving in "serpentine manner" and going too slow on the 101 Freeway. He initially did not respond to the cops and drove 3 exits before finally coming to a stop.

The basketball player failed sobriety test. He was hauled off to a nearby station and booked for DUI without further incident. He was released on $15,000 bail. His driving license was suspended for a year because he refused to take chemical tests during the processing.

He could face six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Besides the DUI charge, Lamar is facing marital woes with Khloe Kardashian. Their four years of marriage reportedly strained due to his continued drug addiction. They were spotted together for the first time, since hit with split rumor this summer, on Tuesday, October 8 in Calabasas. She was behind the wheel, and he was riding shotgun.
