Taylor Swift Sets Record With Six Songwriting Awards

The 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer receives the honor after earning 14 top 30 songs between July 2012 and June 2013.

Super talented country/pop star has broken another record. This time, the 23-year-old singer has been named the Nashville Songwriters Association International's Songwriter/Artist of the Year for the sixth time.

On Tuesday, October 8, NSAI announced that Swift received the honor for earning 14 top 30 songs between July 2012 and June 2013. The Grammy Awards-winning singer's hits come from her 2012 chart-topping album, "", which features tracks including "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble".

Swift first won NSAI's Songwriter/Artist of the Year in 2007. She won again in 2009 and has won every year since then. Her sixth win has broken a tie with and , who have both won the honor five times. Additionally, Swift is the youngest winner of the award.

Her six awards will be displayed at the Taylor Swift Education Center, which opens on Saturday, October 12 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. Swift has donated $4 million to the center, marking the biggest donation made by a single person in the museum's 46-year history.
