AceShowbiz - Dot Jones, who plays gym teacher Shannon Beiste on "Glee", is engaged to her partner Bridgett Casteen. Jones proposed to Casteen near Disneyland Resort's Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, Calif., on Friday, October 4 after three years of dating.

The actress opened up about the engagement at Q&A session during Anaheim Gay Days, an annual weekend event which draws 30,000 LGBT visitors and supporters to the amusement park. "It's the happiest day of my life. I never thought I'd find somebody that is so loving and kind," Jones told The Advocate.

It will be the first marriage for the three-time Emmy-nominated actress. Casteen has two children from her previous marriage with ex-husband Jack Parham.

Jones received three Emmy nominations for her role on the popular FOX series. Besides playing Shannon Beiste, she made appearances in other series such as "Nip/Tuck", "The Mentalist" and "Cougar Town".

Fellow "Glee" star Naya Rivera also announced her engagement to rapper Big Sean recently. The couple got engaged after six months of dating. Rivera flaunted her engagement ring at Latina Magazine's Hollywood Hot List Party on Thursday evening, October 3.

"I had followed him and he sent me a little message like, 'I'm a fan.' I tweeted that I followed him, I was trying to get his attention. We went to dinner and the rest is history," the 26-year-old actress said on meeting Sean in an interview with Access Hollywood last month.
