The raptress cuts short her perfomance at Melbourne's Listen Out Festival after almost getting hit by a can launched by an audience member.

AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks is not happy with the present she got when taking the stage at Melbourne's Listen Out Festival on Saturday, October 5. The "212" hitmaker was in the middle of performing her hit, "ATM Jam", when an audience member threw a can of beer in her direction.

The can didn't hit Banks, but it's enough to make her mad. The 22-year-old singer, who had just begun her set, suddenly dropped her microphone and walked off the stage, cutting short her performance.

"Azealia Banks was forced to cut her set short last night at the Listen Out Festival in Melbourne on 5th October 2013," read a statement from Listen Out. "This was as a result of a member of the audience throwing a full can of beer at her on stage."

"The incident made Azealia and her stage crew feel unsafe. Banks would like to apologize to those fans in the audience whose experience was affected by the behavior of one individual," the statement continued.

Banks later took to her Twittter to apologize, writing, "Sorry to all the festival-goers in Melbourne !!!!! See ya tomorrow in Brisbane !!!!!"

The next show in Brisbane apparently went as planned, as Banks tweeted, "Brisbane went smoothly. No one threw any cans at my head."
