The songs will be featured in the series' farewell episode for its late cast member set for showing on October 10.

AceShowbiz - In what is expected to be an emotional and tear-jerking episode, the cast of "Glee" bids farewell to their late co-star Cory Monteith and his character Finn Hudson in this week's "The Quarterback". The hit TV series has now released six tribute songs from the third episode of season 5 where they deal with the death of the former quarterback of their high school football team.

The whole cast join together for a moving rendition of "Seasons of Love" from the Broadway musical "Rent" as they assign Amber Riley to sing "I'll Stand by You", The Pretenders' hit song that Monteith had sung on the series. Naya Rivera and Mark Salling each drop solos for their beloved cast mate, "If I Die Young" and "No Surrender" respectively, while Kevin McHale and Chord Overstreet perform a duet for him with "Fire and Rain".

Monteith's real-life girlfriend Lea Michele gives a heartfelt version of the Bob Dylan classic and Adele-covered "Make You Feel My Love" for the tribute episode. Being in a romantic relationship with him for more than a year prior to his untimely death back in July, Michele was most affected by Monteith's demise among everyone on "Glee", in fact she was "devastated beyond belief" upon learning about her fiance's shocking death.

This raw emotion from her and the other cast members was apparently captured for the forthcoming episode that will be shown on Thursday, October 10, with the actors' real emotions flowing out as they cope with the loss of their dear co-star in the heartbreaking farewell episode for Monteith.
