Pictures: Jessica Chastain Did Body Cast for 'Crimson Peak'
Movie

While in Toronto, the 'Dark Zero Thirty' actress has a full body cast made for the Guillermo del Toro movie.

AceShowbiz - A sneak peek at the pre-production of Guillermo del Toro's "Crimson Peak" is offered by one of its lead stars Jessica Chastain. A series of pictures were posted on her Facebook, showing her undergoing a full-body lifecast for the horror film before the filming starts next year.

"When I was in Toronto I did a body cast for Crimson Peak which begins filming in Feb. It was a long process, but with the team at DDT, I had a blast. I cant wait to work with my friends; Guillermo Del Toro, Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska. Prepare to be scared," the actress wrote.

Chastain wore a plastic suit and hair cap with her ponytail coated in a tin foil as the crew worked on her head and torso. "I was feeling a bit like Rocky Balboa with my hands in casts," she joked in one pic and added in another, "I was completely helpless. Thankfully, no one decided to play a joke on me."

The "Zero Dark Thirty (2012)" actress got two visitors that day while in the workshop. They were director del Toro who happened to be in Toronto as well busy directing the pilot for FX's upcoming series "The Strain", and child star Isabelle Nelisse, Chastain's co-star in scary movie "Mama" out January this year.

"Crimson Peak" is also supported by Charlie Hunnam. It's "very set-oriented, classical but at the same time modern take on the ghost story. It will allow me to play with the conventions of the genre I know and love, and at the same time subvert the old rules," del Toro once said of his haunted house pic.
