Olivia clears Jeanine's name as the president's mistress, after someone unexpected was revealed as the one who leaked Olivia's name to the press.

AceShowbiz - When "Scandal" returns next week, Olivia appears before the press to address another affair rumor related to President Fitz. This time, she takes the podium to clear Jeanine's name, declaring that Jeanine "absolutely positively did not have sex" with Fitz.

Olivia will definitely not let anyone bring her down after her name was leaked out as the president's mistress, telling someone over the phone, "I'm going to go for blood." A preview for the upcoming outing also teases what Cyrus saw in the folder that would likely bring a new problem for the "gladiators in suits," asking fans to share their thoughts via Twitter.

"Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" will feature flashbacks that explain Olivia's estranged relationship with her father. Meanwhile, both the White House and Pope & Associates are still in the middle of cleaning up the very big and very public mess they created. The episode will air Thursday, October 10 at 10/9c on ABC.

The recently-aired season 3 premiere has answered the big question of who leaked Olivia's name to the press. It turns out [SPOILER ALERT!] President Fitz was the culprit as he wanted to protect Olivia from Mellie and hoped that he could get a divorce and bring Olivia into the White House.

Tony Goldwyn, who plays the POTUS, claims he was as surprised as most audience. "Can you believe that? Was that a good surprise? When we read the script, I was like, 'What?!' I did not suspect that at all," he tells TV Guide.

Of how the reveal affects his relationship with Mellie, he dishes on, "It's so good, I declare war. We continue to be at war, but it goes into various stages of hot war and cold war. It's insane because when our allegiances or agendas line up, we suddenly fall into step, then all of a sudden we're at each other."

He continues, "There are forces that start to reveal themselves that become very, very threatening to the stability of the whole thing. In that way, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So when Mellie and I are aligned in that way, we come into lockstep, and Cyrus too. In other ways, it's very ugly between us. Uglier than you've ever really seen, I think. It's just toxic. It's awful."
