Elizabeth Olsen Confirmed to Join 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'
Movie

The 'Silent House' actress is attached to play the daughter of Magneto and twin sister of Quicksilver.

AceShowbiz - It's official, Elizabeth Olsen will star in "Avengers: Age of Ultron". The confirmation comes straight from actor Samuel L. Jackson, who will reprise his role as Nick Fury in the upcoming sequel of 2012's "The Avengers" and recently made a cameo appearance on ABC's hot series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"I don't think we begin shooting before March of next year," he spills to The Wall Street Journal. "I know we're shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen, but I don't know what she's doing, if she's on the inside or the outside. I haven't seen a script."

Olsen, 24, was first rumored being in talks to star in the superheroes movie back in August. The younger sister of twin actresses-turned-designers Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen was linked to play the Scarlet Witch, the daughter of Magneto and twin sister of Quicksilver. Saoirse Ronan was initially offered the role, but she turned it down.

The second installment of the "Avengers" series is planned for a May 1, 2015 release in the United States. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner are all back to reprise their respective roles.

Olsen, best known for her roles in the likes of "Silent House" and critically acclaimed "Martha Marcy May Marlene", will next be seen in "Very Good Girls" with Dakota Fanning, "Kill Your Darlings" with Daniel Radcliffe, and "Oldboy" with Josh Brolin. Her other new projects include erotic thriller "Therese" and the "Godzilla" remake.
