Family and friends of the Parkinson's disease-stricken radio personality are concerned over his deteriorating condition.

AceShowbiz - For fear over his deteriorating health condition, children, siblings and friends of 81-year-old radio personality Casey Kasem staged a protest outside of his home in Los Angeles. The protest is against Kasem's wife, actress Jean Thompson, who has reportedly been keeping the voice actor from his family despite his being stricken with Parkinson's disease.

His daughter Kerri from his first marriage to Linda Myers said her stepmom would not take their calls and would turn away her siblings Mike and Julie when they would drop by to attempt to see their father. "He can't really speak, but he knows we're there. And last time we saw him, he could shuffle a little bit. He had a hard, very hard, time walking. He was just deteriorating due to Parkinson's disease," said Kerri.

Kasem's brother Mouner is worried for him, saying, "I've got a feeling I might not see him again, and that's why I'm here." Meanwhile, his longtime friend Chuck Olsen is also concerned that no one has been able to see Kasem since April of this year due to Jean's refusal to let him be visited by anyone.

After Kasem's family and friends held handwritten placards outside his home, police came to his Holmby Hills residence to address the commotion. Kerri also revealed that aside from being barred to see their father, they have also been excluded from his will.
