In addition to performing the chart-topping track, the Kiwi singer/songwriter sings 'White Teeth Teens' which is also lifted from her newly-released 'Pure Heroine' album.

AceShowbiz - New Zealand native Lorde made her U.S. television debut on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Tuesday, October 1. The 16-year-old singer/songwriter also hit the stage of the Jimmy Fallon-hosted late night show to perform some tracks off her newly-released debut album, "Pure Heroine".

Lorde was backed by a drummer and a keyboardist on a stage with minimal lighting. Wearing a white dress and sporting her signature frizzy hair, Lorde sang her breakthrough hit called "Royals". She also treated her fans with a special bonus performance of "White Teeth Teens".

Lorde's "Royals" has just landed at No. 1 on Billboard 100, soaring from last week's No. 3 and immediately dethroning the 2-week reign of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball".

When asked how she felt about her "Royals" topping the chart, Lorde said, "It feels like a combination of my birthday, Christmas and washing my hair after a month of not doing so. [I'm] very, very grateful for everyone's love and kind words."

As for Lorde's new album, "Pure Heroine" has been projected to make its debut at No. 3 on Billboard 200 with 115,000 to 125,000 copies sold.
