The pop rock singer will go on a 27-date trek across North America starting on February 9 in Vancouver.

AceShowbiz - To support her new album "Demi", pop-rock songstress Demi Lovato will embark on a 27-date "The Neon Lights" tour across North America in spring next year. The trek has been named after "Neon Lights", one of the tracks in the 21-year-old entertainer's May-released fourth studio album. It's the next song to be released after the hit lead single "Heart Attack" and the Independence Day-released follow-up "Made in the U.S.A."

"Hey guys, just made a big announcement on my Facebook page!!!!" she wrote on Twitter to lead fans to a one-minute black-and-white clip she posted on her Facebook page to announce the new tour. Set to the tune of "Neon Lights", it showed the "Glee" actress performing onstage surrounded by the crowd ending with neon signs flashing the names of the cities where she will be performing as well as the date when fans can start buying their tickets which is October 5 this week.

Lovato will kick off her tour on February 9, 2014 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver followed by performances across the United States and another show in Canada at Toronto's Air Canada Centre between the months of February and March. She wraps things up in Indianapolis at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Theatre on March 30.

Apart from the new music in her self-titled album, Lovato also contributed the song "Heart by Heart" to the soundtrack of the fantasy-action film "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones".
