'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Possible Plot Synopsis Revealed
Movie

The plot description appears on the official IMDb page of the superheroes movie and may have explained the origin of Ultron.

AceShowbiz - The official page of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on IMDb has recently been updated with a synopsis that may have shed some lights on the origin of the titular villain. Disney insisted that it's not official, but didn't really say it was not entirely accurate.

"As the U.S. Government create a force, known as Ultron, The Avengers are told they are not needed any longer," it reads. "But when Ultron turns against Humanity, it's time for The Avengers to assemble yet again for their most dangerous challenge ever."

It was slightly different from what many had speculated before, but director Josh Whedon did warn fans not to jump into conclusion so quickly. "A lot of people, because we called it Age of Ultron, and there was a book Age of Ultron just recently, assumed that was the storyline we're doing, which is not the case," he said.

"We're doing our own version of the origin story of Ultron," the filmmaker added during a chat at the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. "We're sort of crafting our own version of it where his origin comes more directly from the Avengers we already know about."

Dishing more on his vision for the next "Avengers", he openly told EW in a newer interview about the mistakes he made in the first film and how it affected what he's doing for "Age of Ultron". He explained, "When I think of a great film, I think of something that's either structured so perfectly like 'The Matrix' or made so lovingly like 'The Godfather Part II'."

"There was haphazardness in the way it comes together - not just the people, but the scenes," he pointed out the flaws in the 2012 flick. "I don't think you'd look at it and go, 'This is a model of perfect structure.' You'd go, 'This is working.' I like it. I'm proud of it and I like its imperfections. The thing I cared most about - making a summer movie like the ones from my childhood - is the thing that I pulled off."

"[With 'Age of Ultron',] I want to be clearer about how I engage the audience, and where I take them. I want more control visually, more time to prep it. Not that I didn't dictate every shot - I did. But there's only so much you can do when you're making a summer film when the ball is already rolling as fast as it was when I got in. Why do it again if you can't do it better?"

The "Avengers" installment is planned for a May 1, 2015 release in the United States. James Spader is tapped to play the main villain. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson will be back to reprise their respective roles.
