'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Album Track List Unveiled

The soundtrack compilation CD features a talented line-up that includes Coldplay, Patti Smith and Christina Aguilera.

AceShowbiz - Following a preview of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" album by way of Coldplay's "Atlas" contribution earlier this month, the movie soundtrack's complete track list was released on Thursday, September 26. The compilation boasts tracks from such artists as Christina Aguilera, Patti Smith, The Lumineers, and Imagine Dragons.

Among the female acts, "The Voice" coach Aguilera belts "We Remain", Godmother of Punk Smith rocks "Capital Letter", while British pop star Ellie Goulding sings "Mirror" for the soundtrack. Over to the male artists, Canadian recording artist The Weeknd drops two contributions, a solo with "Devil May Cry" and a feature with Diplo for Sia Furler's "Elastic Heart".

As for the bands joining the album, other than Coldplay, there's The National with "Lean", Imagine Dragons with "Who We Are", and The Lumineers with "Gale Song". Completing the fifteen track line-up are Of Monsters and Men with "Silhouettes", Lorde with "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", Santigold with "Shooting Arrows at the Sky", Mikky Ekko with "Place for Us", Phantogram with "Lights", and Antony and the Johnsons with "Angel on Fire".

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is the second installment in "The Hunger Games" science fiction adventure film series based on Suzanne Collins' novels. Directed by Francis Lawrence, the movie hits theatres on November 22 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
