AceShowbiz - As she has promised, Miley Cyrus has released the director's cut version of "Wrecking Ball" music video. While the original version sees the 20-year-old star licking a metal hammer and getting naked on a wrecking ball, the new version is much more kids-friendly.

The four-minute video, which was shot in one take, simply features a close-up shot of Cyrus' face. She sings the heartbreaking song with tears running down her face. Director Terry Richardson also makes a cameo appearance in the video. He appears at the end of the video with Cyrus, who dons a pair of gigantic eyeglasses.

The nudity and all the weird things aside, Cyrus is also seen getting emotional and crying in the original version of "Wrecking Ball" video which came on the heels of the rumor about Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth's break-up.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the former Disney princess explained that the tears in the video were real, but it had nothing to do with her relationship with now ex-fiance. "My dog just passed away," she said.

The new version of "Wrecking Ball" is not the only video she recently dropped. She has joined Mike WiLL Made It, Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa to debut a highly-anticipated music video for "23". The video shows Cyrus smoking a cigarette in a bathroom while wearing modified Chicago Bulls jerseys with Michael Jordan's signature No. 23 printed on them.

"23" appears on Mike WiLL's upcoming first studio album, "Est. in 1989, Pt. 3", while "Wrecking Ball" is the second cut off Cyrus' "Bangerz" album that is due out in October.
