AceShowbiz - A&E shares first footage from its "Bonnie & Clyde" miniseries. Emile Hirsch and Holliday Grainger, as the partners in crime, get lovey dovey early on the clip but the latter scenes are action packed as the robber duo raids a bank. Gunfire erupts when police try to capture them which ends with a bloody fate for the couple.
The show is based on the true story of bank robbing couple Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. "Modern Family" actress Sarah Hyland joins the cast as Blanche Barrow, the wife of Clyde's brother Buck and the famed outlaw's partner in crime in the Barrow Gang. Lane Garrison will portray Buck.
Lifetime, History Channel and A&E team up to bring the four-hour event that will air December 8 and 9 at 8 P.M. on the three networks. John Rice and Joe Batteer write the drama with Bruce Beresford serving as director.
