Cyrus began her four-song set with "We Can't Stop" During the performance, the stage was packed with several dwarf dancers who were dressed in flower, mushroom and rainbow costumes. The 20-year-old singer then performed her other hit, "Party in the USA", before covering Melanie Safka's "Look What They've Done to My Song".

Cyrus' set was highlighted by her emotional rendition of "Wrecking Ball". The former child actress, who had just called off her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth, was reportedly shedding tears when singing the heartbreaking song.
