A new promo for the third installment of the FX series sees Jessica Lange's Fiona unleashing her power and telling young girls to learn to fight.

AceShowbiz - After a bunch of teasers, "American Horror Story: Coven" finally shares its first footage in a new promo video. A courtesy of E! News, the snippet reveals that Taissa Farmiga's Zoe apparently learns she's a witch after she accidentally hurts a boy she likes.

She's later sent to a school in New Orleans, Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies, which teaches young witches to protect themselves. Sarah Paulson's Cordelia runs the school, but when mysterious attacks have been escalating against witches, Cordelia's powerful and estranged mother, Jessica Lange's Fiona, returns home from Los Angeles to take action.

Zoe, Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) and Madison (Emma Roberts), who is described as a "self-involved party girl," are among the few students in the school. Zoe seemingly will get a not-really-nice treatment from other girls and Fiona punishes two of them by slamming them to the wall.

A glimpse at Kathy Bates' Marie Delphine LaLaurie, Angela Bassett's Voodoo priestess Marie Laveau and a girl, played by Lily Rabe, being dragged and burnt alive, are also included in the video.

The third installment in the Ryan Murphy-created anthology series will premiere Wednesday, October 9 at 10 P.M. on FX. Evan Peters, Denis O'Hare and Frances Conroy return as new characters, with Danny Huston, Patti LuPone, Grey Damon and more joining the cast.
