The pop-rock star gets her first No. 1 single on Hot 100, thanks to the mileage generated by its racy video.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus finally lands her first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart via "Wrecking Ball" boosted by the release of its much-talked about music video. It dislodges Katy Perry's "Roar" from the top of the singles chart after just two weeks since it ended the 12-week reign of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines".

Prior to this latest feat, the 20-year-old singer's best Hot 100 performance was at No. 2 by way of her "Bangerz" lead single "We Can't Stop" and her 2009 hit "Party in the U.S.A.". By bagging the top spot in the singles chart, Cyrus is enjoying a double victory from both the track and its music video, which holds the VEVO record for most views in its first 24 hours of being posted last September 9 with 19.3 million global views.

Not losing any opportunity to strike while the iron is hot, Cyrus, despite her split from fiance Liam Hemsworth, is not letting up on the aggressive promotion for her forthcoming new album. On the morning of September 18, she released the four different covers for her fourth studio album which her loyal Smilers can all choose from when "Bangerz" hits stores on October 8.

In two of the covers, Cyrus projects her pop-rock superstar persona in a black leather jacket. In another, she dons a white mid-riff top with black-and-white checkered pants. In the third one, she puts on the sweet look, with a zoomed-in shot of her face framed by pink roses. Then of course, there's the last one where she's, again, in the nude, exposing a tattoo.
