Selling 98,000 copies in its first week, the 'American Idol' judge's latest album edges out the Canadian R'n'B singer's first full-length set for the top spot on the chart.

AceShowbiz - Keith Urban's newest album, "Fuse", has topped this week's Billboard 200. The country star's latest set dethrones last week's No. 1, Ariana Grande's "Yours Truly", after selling 98,000 copies in its first week, Nielsen SoundScan reports.

"Fuse" gives Urban his second No.1 album. His 2009 release entitled "Defying Gravity" also landed at the chart's top slot with 172,000. "Fuse" also marks his lowest sales start for an album since 2002's "Golden Road", which peaked at No. 11 with 67,000.

Running closely behind Urban is The Weeknd, whose first LP "Kiss Land" opened with 96,000. The R&B artist previously entered the chart with 2012's "Trilogy", a compilation of his three previously-released mixtapes. "Trilogy" debuted at No. 4 with 86,000 back in December.

2 Chainz' "Based on a TRU Story 2: Me Time" rounds out the top 3 with 63,000. The first installment of the record, 2012's "Based on a T.R.U. Story", scored him his first No. 1 album after debuting with 147,000.

At No. 4, Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" has sold additional 53,000 copies. Janelle Monae's "The Electric Lady" bows at No. 5 with 47,000. The album serves as the follow-up to 2010's "The ArchAndroid", which opened and peaked at No. 17 with 21,000.

Debuting at No. 6 with 42,000, Arctic Monkeys' "AM" gives the British band their highest-charting album. However, the largest sales week for the band is still owned by their 2007 album "Favourite Worst Nightmare", which peaked at No. 7 after debuting with 44,000.

Sheryl Crow becomes the last new entry in the top 10 after her first country set, "Feels Like Home", makes its way to No. 7 with 36,000.

Last week's top 2, Tamar Braxton's "Love and War" and Grande's "Yours Truly", fall to No. 8 and No 9 with 35,000 and 31,000, respectively. Slipping from No. 4, John Legend's "Love in the Future" takes the last spot in the top 10 with 30,000.
