Jennifer Aniston's Rep Slams Latest Pregnancy Rumor
Jennifer Aniston is not pregnant, despite latest rumor to the contrary. News spread out on Wednesday, September 18 that the "Wanderlust" actress was having a bun in the oven after Us magazine printed the supposed baby news as a cover story for its latest issue, but her representative quickly pours cold water on the report.
The tabloid pointed out Aniston's "curiously clear work schedule." The tab claimed the blonde beauty, who is currently engaged to actor Justin Theroux, "postponed a late September photo shoot for a Smartwater ad campaign" because of her alleged pregnancy. She was said keeping it secret at the moment and "waiting to share the news."
Furthermore, it was rumored that Aniston was struggling to hide her growing baby bump, and her stylist "had to redo her whole press tour wardrobe." When promoting her movie "We're the Millers" earlier this year, she said the fact that she looked curvier than usual was because she's simply gained "just a couple of pounds."
Seemingly frustrated by the countless times she was rumored getting pregnant, she mockingly added back then, "Oh, if I was to have a child, 'how many kids do I want?' And 'do I want a boy or a girl?' I didn't realize you could place orders, I honestly didn't realize it was like a drive-thru, that you could talk to a little electronic voice."
"Jennifer is NOT pregnant," her publicist Stephen Huvane now insists. "The whole story is a complete fabrication all the way from a supposed cancelled Smartwater shoot to Jennifer asking for a late check-out in Toronto and to her stylist having to rework her wardrobe. None of this ever happened and shame on Us magazine for once again getting it all wrong."
Aniston, 44, and Theroux, 42, have been together since 2011. They were engaged in 2012 on his 41st birthday. The couple was hit with wedding rumors numerous times, but she always said they were not rushing to get to the altar. "We're just really happy and we're in love and we feel like we're married," she said in one occasion.
In a recent interview with GQ, Theroux also opened up about how his relationship with his beautiful fiancee changed his life and caused him to make compromise a la Bruno Kirby in "When Harry Met Sally" when he moved in with Carrie Fisher. In his case, the "Rock of Ages" scribe said he had to get rid of a certain prized art collections of his.
"I have these beautiful wax-museum pieces - handmade, from the 1800s - from a museum of curiosities," he said. "They're just these open mouths, with tongues, and in the throats are different stages, labeled, of syphilis and gonorrhea and whatever. Those definitely found a great place in my office in L.A. They weren't going to be above the fireplace anytime soon."
