AceShowbiz - NBC teases the return of Emmy Award winner James Spader on the small screen with a new sneak peek at "The Blacklist". The network generously shares the opening scene of the new show, focusing on Spader's Raymond "Red" Reddington who steps into the FBI headquarters to surrender himself.

One of the FBI's most-wanted fugitives, Red mysteriously turns himself in to the FBI and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with including a long-thought-dead terrorist but under one condition - he'll only talk to newly-minted female FBI profiler, Elizabeth Keen. For Liz, it's going to be one hell of a first day on the job.

What follows is a twisting series of events as the race to stop a terrorist begins. What are Red's true intentions? Why has he chosen Liz, a woman with whom he seemingly has no connection? Does Liz have secrets of her own? All of the questions will be slowy answered on the show.

Having received rave reviews, "The Blacklist" is dubbed one of fall's best new dramas by many TV critics. It will premiere Monday, September 23 at 10 P.M. on NBC. Megan Boone stars as Elizabeth.
