Emily Ratajkowski will share screen with Ben Affleck in the upcoming thriller, while the 'Walking Dead' actress will star opposite Jim Carrey in the 'Dumb and Dumber' sequel.

AceShowbiz - Emily Ratajkowski, one of the scantily-clad models appearing in Robin Thicke's controversial "Blurred Lines" music video, has landed her first major movie role. She is tapped to star opposite Ben Affleck in David Fincher-directed thriller "Gone Girl".

According to The Wrap, she will play Affleck's mistress in the big-screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's bestselling mystery novel of the same name. She will have an important role in the mysterious disappearance of his wife Amy Dunne played by Rosamund Pike.

The movie will be supported by the likes of Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris. Production is expected to begin this fall for a scheduled 2015 release.

Also scoring a female lead in an upcoming movie is Laurie Holden. "The Walking Dead" star is confirmed to join "Dumb and Dumber To". She will portray a wife of a wealthy doctor who plans to set up dim-witted duo Lloyd and Harry to cover her tracks.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels return as the "Dumb and Dumber" duo. They set out on another adventure after receiving a letter from their former flame saying that one of them is the father of her child, and that the kid needs a kidney transplant.

Although best known as the "Blurred Lines" video girl, Ratajkowski isn't a total stranger to acting. She previously appeared on Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and FOX's "New Girl".

Holden has a much more extensive filmography, starring on TV series like "The X-Files", "The Magnificent Seven" and "The Shield". Her big-screen credits include "Silent Hill" and "The Mist".
