'American Horror Story' Star Lily Rabe Joins 'Mockingjay' Part 1 and 2
Movie

Rabe will play a former victor of the Hunger Games from District 2 who later becomes one of the rebel commanders at District 13.

AceShowbiz - Lionsgate announces another new addition to the last two installments of "The Hunger Games" movie franchise. Lily Rabe is set to play Commander Lyme in both "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2".

Lyme is described as a past victor of an unknown Hunger Games, hailing from District 2. She will be one of the leaders of the rebellion at District 13, the last of the thirteen districts of Panem that was thought to be destroyed by the Capitol during the first protest.

Rabe joins new members in the franchise that include Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Evan Ross and newly-announced Julianne Moore. They will star opposite returning cast like Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

Francis Lawrence, who directs the second installment "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", will back to helm the next two movies. "Catching Fire" is due November 22 this year, followed by the first "Mockingjay" on November 21, 2014 and the last one on November 20, 2015.

"Mockingjay" will follow Katniss (Lawrence) joining a rebellion against the Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, she must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.

Rabe, 31, joins FX's "American Horror Story" anthology series since the first installment in 2011. She was back on "American Horror Story: Asylum" last year and will next be seen in the upcoming "American Horror Story: Coven". Her big screen credits include "Mona Lisa Smile", "What Just Happened?" and "All Good Things".
