Lambert, Strait, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Alabama and Eric Church are joining previously-announced performers to play a concert to celebrate Jones' contribution to country music.

AceShowbiz - Several big names in country music have been added to the line-up of the George Jones tribute concert. Nancy Jones, the wife of the late country legend, has announced that Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Eric Church and Alabama are going to perform at the sold-out show that will take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on November 22.

The artists are joining the previously-announced performers that include Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Josh Turner, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry and Sam Moore. All previously-announced artists are currently being reconfirmed.

"I am thrilled and honored that so many of George's friends are coming to what would have been his last concert, but is not a fitting tribute," Nancy Jones said in a statement. "George loved these artists and before passing had actually wrote letters to almost all of them."

Jones was in the middle of his farewell tour entitled The Grand Tour when he passed away last April. The Nashville show was originally a part of the tour, but was later converted into a concert to celebrate Jones' contribution to country music.

Last week, an album of Jones' new music was released. Produced by Jones' longtime producer, Billy Sherrill, the new record called "Amazing Grace" features Jones performing 12 gospel standards like "Old Rugged Cross", "Peace in the Valley", and the title track.
