The actor and his wife Julie Solomon welcomed on Thursday, September 12 their first baby boy named Camden Quinn.

AceShowbiz - After getting married in a secret beach ceremony last July, actor/writer/director Johnathon Schaech and his wife, music and book publicist Julie Solomon, celebrated another milestone in their relationship. The newlyweds became new parents on Thursday, September 12, welcoming their first child, a bouncing 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 19 inches baby boy they named Camden Quinn.

"Julie came up with 'Camden' - she had no idea my hometown team played at Camden Yards. We have my team pennant hanging up in the baby room," Schaech began to explain how their new son's name came about. Quinn was added in honor of Solomon's late grandmother's maiden name.

Before Camden Quinn's arrival, Schaech had already had some practice holding a baby while playing his character on the Showtime hit series "Ray Donovan", movie star Sean Walker who incidentally also has a new baby. His co-star on the show, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" actor Liev Schreiber, had actually taught him how to hold a baby's head up, telling him to "support the baby at the back of the neck, so the head doesn't move so much."

But apart from holding baby Camden Quinn, Schaech knows he would make a good father to his son because of the way he himself was raised by his own parents, growing up with the values they instilled in him when he was growing up in Edgewood, Maryland. "They instilled faith in me," said the 44-year-old first-time father.
