Producer Harvey Weinstein reveals that he persuaded Stewart to have a chat with an unnamed prince, who was willing to donate $500,000 to charity.

AceShowbiz - Producer Harvey Weinstein, who was at the Toronto International Film Festival to screen the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert film "12-12-12", revealed that Kristen Stewart made large donation to charity by chatting with a prince for 15 minutes. Speaking to audience on Monday, September 9 following the screening, Weinstein said that he persuaded the "On the Road" actress to chat with the prince in exchange for sizeable donation.

The unnamed prince approached the relief organizer, saying that he would make donation if he could talk to the "Twilight" actress. "How much?" Stewart asked Weinstein, as quoted by New York Times. Weinstein negotiated the number with the prince and the amount was raised to $500,000.

The money was paid in advance in form of cash. [James Dolan, Madison Square Garden's chairman] locked it up in Madison Square Garden, according to Weinstein. "And Kristen sits with the guy for 15 minutes," he added.

In addition to the Sandy storm relief, the actress contributed to donation for people who were affected by devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010. She auctioned off herself by offering a chance to hang out with her at the Sundance Film Festival. Stewart also auctioned off several items and donated the money to fight child prostitution following a research about teenage prostitute for her movie "Welcome to the Rileys".
