The 'Red' artist sets the record straight regarding reports that she and J. Lo will team up on a new song.

AceShowbiz - For fans who got excited over recent reports that Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez would soon collaborate on a new song, their bubble just got burst by the 23-year-old country pop superstar. During an interview with E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival, Swift said the new song team-up was purely speculation at this point, although that's not to say that it's impossible.

"We haven't spoken further about collaborating," Swift told reporter Marc Malkin. "I mean, for me, I love her, she's amazing. She has my number, we text, but we haven't texted about going into the studio."

Although Swift's confirmation was a downer for those eager to hear their supposed country-pop-dance joint project, fans of the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer are no less happy for their idol, who leads the nominees at the forthcoming CMA Awards with the most nominations (six), tied with newcomer Kacey Musgraves, with both of them vying for the Female Vocalist and Album of the Year awards.

While attending the "One Chance" premiere at her debut appearance at the TIFF, Swift looked stunning on the red carpet in a white cut-out dress. She apparently caught the eye of 24-year-old Australian actor Brenton Thwaites who was promoting his film "Oculus" at the film fest. The pair reportedly engaged in an hour-long flirty chat.
