The former Lakers and Clippers player laughs off his rumored marital woes as he is slapped with lawsuit over his confrontation with a photographer last summer.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has finally responded to the swirling rumors suggesting that he was battling drug addiction. When running into paparazzi while he was out and about in Los Angeles Monday, September 9, the NBA player said, "Nah, I'm good," while making his way to his awaiting car.

Odom's alleged drug problems were said to have rocked his four-year marriage to Khloe Kardashian, but the basketball star insisted, "Life is good." He laughed, "Of course! That's my wife," when asked if he'd kept in touch with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star.

But drug issues and marital woes are not the only problems Odom is dealing with. Aside from his DUI arrest that prompted him to receive a brief one-day treatment, he is also facing a legal battle against a paparazzo named Stefan Saad with whom he had a confrontation last June.

The photographer claimed Odom flipped out when asked about his alleged cheating scandal. According to the plaintiff, the basketballer approached Saad's car with a metal rod in his hand, grabbed his camera and then proceeded to smash the equipment in the middle of the street.

Saad said Odom then collected the camera and drove off. The shutterbug followed the star to "retrieve the tools of the trade," but he saw the athlete destroying it on Hollywood Boulevard "in a display that can only be understood as having the intention to humiliate Mr. Saad."

The complaint didn't stop there, as Saad also slammed Khloe over her tweet posted after the incident. He accused her of attempting to "minimize" her husband's actions by "blaming the victim." The photog said, "The Kardashian clan has apparently come to believe that it is above the law, and has some exceptional privilege to disregard the rights of others."

According to E! News, Saad is asking for at least $15,000 to replace his equipment, compensatory damages of at least $50,000 to account for lost work, compensatory damages of at least $500,000 to account for his emotional distress, attorney fees and unspecified punitive damages.

Earlier it was reported that the L.A. City Attorney's Office decided not to press criminal charges against Odom after investigation into the incident. A court spokesman, however, did state that they planned to schedule a meeting with the two parties involved.
