AceShowbiz - The music video for Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" has set a new VEVO record. Premiered on Monday, September 9, the clip earned 19.3 million views in its first 24 hours. It easily beats previous record holder, One Direction, whose "Best Song Ever" music video garnered 12.3 million views back in July.
Cyrus is sure excited about her new achievement. "Wrecking Ball has officially beat the @VEVO record," the former "Hannah Montana" star tweeted on Tuesday, September 10. "Y'all did went so above and beyond with wrecking ball :) I love you so much and thank you for breaking the vevo record!!!"
To celebrate her new record, Cyrus has unveiled the tracklist for "Bangerz", her upcoming new album. "Who's ready for #bangerz track list???" she tweeted. The 13-track album includes "Wrecking Ball" and its predecessor, "We Can't Stop".
The 20-year-old singer has worked with fellow pop star Britney Spears in a song called "SMS (Bangerz)". She also has four collaboration songs with four hip-hop artists that include Nelly, Future, Big Sean and French Montana.
Cyrus plans to unveil the tracklist for deluxe edition of "Bangerz" if "Wrecking Ball" hits No. 1 on iTunes. The follow-up to 2010's "Can't Be Tamed" is slated to be released on October 8.
