McCarthy, along with co-host Sherri Shepherd, shows Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg how to do the twerking move, and plays the Newlywed Game with her newly confirmed boyfriend.

AceShowbiz - Jenny McCarthy made her debut as "The View" co-host on Monday, September 9. Joining co-hosts Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg on the panel, she twerked out as they talked about the booty-shaking move made popular by Miley Cyrus. The former Playboy model, however, couldn't pull her best twerking attempt in her form-fitting dress.

The ladies also talked about Cyrus' raunchy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Shepherd expressed her concern that such behavior at a party made a girl "not protected." McCarthy, meanwhile, shared her opinion that artists tended to push the envelope when they're insecure about their talent.

Later on the show, McCarthy introduced her new boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg as a guest. The New Kids On The Block member, who presented her with flowers and balloons, talked about juggling his boyband tour and filming his show "Blue Bloods".

The pair, who have confirmed their romance with a red carpet appearance at the Stars Charity Event in late August, also played the Newlywed Game where Wahlberg had to answer his girlfriend's favorite part of his body. He wrote down his answer, "My butt, but it should be my eyes."

McCarthy was tapped as the new "View" host to replace Elisabeth Hasslebeck, who left the show on July 10 and has moved to "Fox & Friends".
