In another creepy teaser for the show's third teaser, a recently-released poster features a snake weaving in and out of three women's mouths.

AceShowbiz - Another promo for "American Horror Story: Coven" has made its way out online. Titled "Coffin", it features a diseased looking woman in a black dress fixing her hair while lying underground. "What secrets do we keep that you thought were asleep?" so the caption for the video reads.

The third installment of the anthology series tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves.

Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona (Jessica Lange), the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way.

Sarah Paulson also returns as Fiona's daughter, while Kathy Bates is cast as Marie Delphine LaLaurie, or Madame LaLaurie, who is loosely based on the real-life Louisiana-born socialite who was known for killing and torturing black slaves in the 1830s.

Angela Bassett takes on another role based on a real-life figure, Marie Laveau, who is Louisiana Creole woman "in the 1800s who was very influential in the city." She was known as a Voodoo priestess. Alexander Dreymon has also been added to the cast to play a handsome young man who moves in next door to the Academy.

FX sets October 9 as the premiere date of "American Horror Story: Coven". To further hype up the show's return, a new poster was recently released, featuring a disturbing image of a snake weaving in and out of three women's mouths.
