The 'Mad Men' actor adds new starring gig after 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' and Nicholas Braun is expected to join him soon in the Gil Kenan pic.

AceShowbiz - Jared Harris just lands a leading role in MGM and Fox 2000's "Poltergeist" reboot. News of the "Mad Men" actor's inclusion, first reported by Deadline, comes a day after he was set to reteam with his "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" helmer Guy Ritchie in "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.".

Another report from The Wrap has another actor eyeing the project as his next starring vehicle. "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" actor Nicholas Braun enters talks to join the cast ensemble, which also has Rosemarie DeWitt, who got cast in July, and Sam Rockwell, who seemingly confirmed his casting in a recent interview with HitFix.

The remake of the 1982 horror classic centers on the Bowen family, whose youngest daughter is abducted by supernatural forces that trap her in the netherworld between life and death. Harris will play a larger-than-life TV personality who hosts a cable TV show named "Haunted House Cleaners".

As for Braun, he is expected to portray a grad student of a parapsychologist, who recruits Harris' character and, along with Braun's, investigates the supernatural events surrounding the Bowen girl's disappearance.

"The Following" actor Kyle Catlett has recently finalized a deal to be the middle Bowen child in the movie directed by Gil Kenan and scripted by David Lindsay-Abaire.
