The Joker depicter in 1989's 'Batman' is said to have given up acting due to memory loss.

Another unnamed source adds that he is even "actively reading scripts and is looking forward to his next project."

Nicholson was last seen in the 2010 dramedy "How Do You Know", in which he teamed up with his frequent collaborator James L. Brooks and starred alongside Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson.

The big fan of Los Angeles Lakers almost starred in Alexander Payne's "Nebraska" and David Dobkin's "The Judge", but he turned it all down. Bruce Dern ended up taking over the role in the former, while Robert Duvall snatched the role in the latter, which is headlined by Robert Downey Jr..
