The rapper releases a cinematic trailer promoting his upcoming tour with Wale that kicks off on Tuesday, September 10.

AceShowbiz - With just a few days to go before he goes on his North America tour with Maybach Music Group rapper Wale, Dreamville Records label artist J. Cole drops a one-minute plus cinematic trailer to promote the trek. The 28-year-old North Carolina MC is expected to perform music from his new album "Born Sinner" which has now beaten Kanye West's album "Yeezus" in the race to being gold-certified.
Inspired by the 1998 film "What Dreams May Come" starring comedian Robin Williams where a widowed man, after dying in a car crash, searches the afterlife to find his wife, the video features Cole having an out-of-body experience. His spirit rises from his seemingly lifeless body. It closes out with the complete tour schedule which he first announced back in July.
J. Cole and Wale's joint trek kicks off on September 10 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida followed by the next 25 shows across the U.S. and Canada spread throughout the months of September and October. It culminates on October 30 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington.
After debuting at the runner-up spot to West's "Yeezus", "Born Sinner" has moved more than 500,000 copies to surpass the rap mogul's much-talked about album. Cole has since released three singles from the album, the lead track "Power Trip" which is his second team-up with "Adorn" singer Miguel, the "Crooked Smile" collaboration with TLC's surviving members Tionne Watkins a.k.a. "T-Boz" and Rozonda Thomas a.k.a. "Chilli", as well as "Forbidden Fruit" featuring Kendrick Lamar.
