AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom is entering treatment for his drug addiction, PEOPLE reports. The husband of Khloe Kardashian has reportedly checked into a rehab center to battle his demons. "He realized he needs help," a source tells the publication.
The former Lakers player, 32, was recently arrested on suspicion of DUI for driving too slow in the highway. The NBA star failed field sobriety test and refused to take a chemical test, leading to his driving silence getting suspended.
His marriage to Khloe is reportedly on the rocks due to his continued drug problems, but any rumors of the two getting divorce are vehemently dismissed. Khloe is said focusing on getting him help and staging intervention to get him to go to rehab.
The E! reality star has been tweeting cryptic messages on Twitter over the past few days to express her feeling amidst her husband's rumored drug issues. "As much as I wish I were made of steel... I'm not," she recently wrote. "I'm pretty damn close to it though hehe."
In another occasion, she dropped an expletive rant, "Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk s**t about my family! F**k you and shame on you! I'm too protective for this s**t!"
Odom is rumored dealing with substance abuse for two years now. He once said, "I just couldn't control myself in L.A. ... the lifestyle that I was living and the things I had access to." His father battled heroin addiction in the past, and he wondered if he was "fighting my father's demons."
